Physical Therapy for the Homebound

In conjunction with hospice and health care agencies in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties, Doeberling-Muccio provides therapy services to homebound patients who require skilled physical therapy.

Home therapy is the ideal solution for a housebound patient, allowing him/her to gain strength and mobility lost after a major surgery, prolonged hospitalization or complication from a chronic illness. Doeberling-Muccio physical therapists specialize in assessing the patient’s physical strengths and weaknesses and setting realistic goals for therapy outcomes. Our therapists teach easy-to-perform exercises that help improve physical mobility and ease the difficulty of everyday tasks.

Typical in-home sessions last 60-90 minutes and are scheduled two to three times per week, depending on the physician’s prescription for therapy.
