Social Services
Provided by a social worker as needed, including medical social services, helping to secure aid from other community agencies, making new living arrangements when needed, and short term counseling.
These services may also include therapies, such as:
PHYSICAL THERAPY Assisting a patient in achieving a maximum level of functioning by teaching techniques to reduce pain, increase strength, endurance and range of motion and improve walking ability.
SPEECH THERAPY Assisting a patient in recovering maximum communication and swallowing skills through teaching and practicing speech techniques individualized to patient needs.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Assisting a patient in achieving maximum independence in activities of daily living.
